A little bit about us.
Together, we hope to share our love for boating and the San Juan Islands through Friday Harbor Boat Rentals and Island Hopping Charters.
Noah Easterbrook, Owner.
I've had a passion for boats since I was young. I grew up sailing around the world with my parents. I've owned and operated a Mobile Marine Service and a Boatyard. I moved to Friday Harbor many years ago and began working in the restaurant industry. Now, I've found myself back in my true passion - boats. We are happy to be in our fourth season of Friday Harbor Boat Rentals and look forward to many more!
Kayla Easterbrook, Co-owner.
I've lived on San Juan Island for most of my life. After graduating from Western Washington University, I returned home to teach First Grade at Friday Harbor Elementary School. Growing up in Friday Harbor has fostered a natural connection and love for the ocean and marine life. We are fortunate to call San Juan Island home and are eager to welcome our baby boy into the world this May!
Sucia Easterbrook, First Mate.
Our sweet Rhodesian Ridgeback and Husky-lab mix named after one of our favorite islands - Sucia Island. She'll be excited to meet you down on the docks!
Amio Oru, Captain.
Amio started his career in boating in 1999 when he started deck-handing aboard fishing vessels in SE Alaska. In 2005 he began to commercial fish for salmon on his own gillnetting boat, navigating swift currents and high tides daily as he brought in the catch. After retiring from fishing he was still drawn to the water. He began sailing in 2015 and quickly adapted to being under sail instead of the motor, becoming addicted to the feeling of harnessing the wind he bought a live-aboard sailboat to live, explore, and sail in the Pacific Northwest. He then obtained his USCG Masters Near Coastal 50 ton license so he can share his love for the water, boating, sailing, and the Pacific Northwest with others. He currently resides on Orcas Island Washington.
